To dramatize the effectiveness of the Medifast weight loss plan, we filmed overweight people having an imaginary conversation with their skinnier selves. The participants then went on the program for 9 months and all lost weight. We returned to the same locations to shoot the thinner people responding and reacting to their heavier selves.
