VisitEngland: Wallace & Gromit's Great UK Adventure
Dedicated VisitEngland agency 4VE have created a highly-anticipated TV and Cinema campaign featuring Britain's favourite plasticine duo, Wallace & Gromit.
The ad follows the mischief that ensues when Wallace attempts to fire them both abroad from a giant cannon, while Gromit tries in vain to show him how much there is to see and do in the UK. Produced by Nick Park's world famous Aardman Animations, it took around 20 people and just over three months to painstakingly film. Led by VisitEngland and supported by the home nation tourist boards of Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and participating travel agents, the ad promotes domestic breaks as the latest instalment in the 'Holiday at Home are GREAT' campaign.
