Direct Insurance (Not) skipping the ads Direct Insurance Israel launched two spots intended exclusively for broadcast on YouTube's true-view tool. True-view allows users to skip the ad after the first 5 seconds.Using a humoristic approach, the spots directly address the option to skip the ads, and try to persuade viewers not to do so. The first spot shows the familiar Direct Insurance pigeons as they decide to write a letter to YouTube requesting to cancel the "skip" button. Their reason is that it may cause people to miss a significant and well deserved discount on online insurance. In the second spot the pigeons talk about the advantages of tailored online insurance.
