How do you tell the story of Vend in 2 minutes?

In creating a video for our website homepage – the first thing many will see about Vend – we wanted to tell the story of the people, effort and creativity that go into making the world’s best Point-of-Sale software.

Written by us, directed by filmmaker Sally Tran, and filmed in a ‘one shot’ style at our Auckland HQ, it is, we hope a bit different from your standard tech company promo video. Instead of slick on-screen graphics, we made props out of cardboard and paper. Instead of actors, we featured our staff and customers. We had a great deal of help from our family and friends, and a lot of fun making it.

But for all that fun it also serves an important purpose – to show anyone who visits our website that Vend is more than just a piece of software, it is made with love, by real people, and we’re all just a click away, ready to help.
