LG: The World's Slimmest Ad

What does the leading Nordic Hi-Fi magazine 'Sound & Vision' and LG's new curved OLED-TV have in common? Besides the obvious, both the magazine and the TV are exactly 4 millimeters thin. In January 2014, LG Electronics launched its new curved OLED TV at the CES-show in Las Vegas.

Besides the unique viewing angle and perfect color distribution, the TV is only 4 millimeters thin. Just as thin as one of the most read tech magazines in the Nordics: Sound & Vision. This coincidence didn't pass unnoticed.

Ad agency M&C Saatchi Stockholm used the magazine spine as a unique media placement, creating The World's Slimmest Ad.
