Eeksaurus: Rotary - Heart Line
Rotary heart surgery synopsis In India, the occurrence of congenital heart disease is 8 per 1,000 live births. Rotary arranges free heart surgery at private hospitals, for underprivileged children who cannot afford the cost of surgery otherwise. Each child Rotary saves is a tribute to humanity and compassion - giving us hope for the future. And we at Eeksaurus fully support this cause. Hence, in conjunction with JWT, Eeksaurus has created this CG animated film which tells the story of repairing the heartlines of thousands of Indian children by providing them with a new and better life and giving them the hope of swinging towards their dream. A completely different approach of the animation pipeline is derived, so as to keep intact both the message of the film and look and feel. The animation pipeline includes combination of 2d traditional line drawing approach of animation and 3d asset creation and animation, as well. We decided to follow the traditional 2d animation route before actually mapping the lines onto the 3d photo-realistic hand model, that we have created, so as to achieve the objective of the film in terms of look and feel. This is the only way we could show convincing actions & emotions while making sure that the character & elements actuallylook like the lines in our palms.For the singing, we called talented slum kids of Mumbai's Govandi slum who's voice captured a billion hearts.
