Everyday a lot of albums are released by a lot of record labels. Promoted with billboards, banners, ads and so on. But how can we help a newcomer DJ team, called NIGHTKRAFT, to sell their debut album EQT, reach the special audience of club people, and stand out of the crowd? Instead of creating usual ads, MAYD invented a whole new media channel: BEATVERTISE. A commercial spot, that‘s disguised as a clubtrack. Played for the first time ever in the clubs by the DJs. Therefore NIGHTKRAFT produced a unique song, called Get it. A track with special vocals, which animates all listeners to buy their album. The track was officially released on their album, played live on their gigs and is still available in more than 500 digital musicstores like iTunes, Beatport and Spotify. Via Shazam everybody could also download the track and the album on location.
To maximize the impact of BEATVERTISE, we let NIGHTKRAFT play their track Get it on every single live gig they had in more than 100 clubs of europe. NIGHTKRAFT also animates the party crowd to download the track and the album on location by using shazam. So for the first time ever the clubs of europe became a plattform for advertising, and a whole new communication channel was born. Besides that we released the track in in more than 500 digital musicstores and placed it on Soundcloud, so everybody could get the track.
BEATVERTISE became a huge success. Get it was played over 10.000 times on Soundcloud in one week and in over 100 Clubs. Released in over 500 digital music stores, played by club and radio-DJs worldwide (Japan FM 802). BEATVERTISE generates lots of booking requests for NIGHTKRAFT and thousands of downloads for their album-tracks. So NIGHTKRAFT entered the charts of worlds most important store for electronic music,
