The National September 11 Memorial Museum was created as a way to honor the thousands of men and women who lost their lives on that day in 2001 and to preserve the history of 9/11. Last year, the organisation through BBDO New York launched an ad campaign designed to build awareness of the Museum's planned opening. The advertising featured the voice of Robert De Niro and the tag line "Take a day to remember the day that changed us forever."
