CLM BBDO continues French rollout of Snickers "you’re not you when you’re hungry" campaign. The campaign was successfully launched in September with an ad showing a very annoyed, hungry Gremlin. In 2014, the “you’re not you when you’re hungry” campaign has been adapted to mini-Snickers bars. As a mini-Snickers is half the size of a normal Snickers, CLM BBDO made 4 films that show how you can suddenly lose control when you’re just half-hungry, leading to an intermittent, schizophrenic-like personality change.
The ads feature a boxing coach, a gangster and a widow who are all only half themselves when they’re hungry. Rosey, a director at Moonwalk, decided to focus on the acting with no tricks, using the register of hit movies to illustrate the endless personality changes with humour.
