Langenscheidt Translation Dictionaries: Decodicons

The origin of the written word goes back to cave paintings, hieroglyphs and other pictorial representation. This fact was the basis for our film. By adding just a few elements we turned the written words into pictograms of their actual meaning. We call them "Decodicons". Starting with one single "Decodicon", the film puts the viewer in a fantastic world of various languages like Persian, Hebrew or Chinese, where he can discover and more importantly understand every single one of them.
