In its first-ever TV advertising outside the relatively nearby San Francisco DMA, the North Lake Tahoe Marketing Cooperative casts its net south, to San Diego, over 600 miles away. Miles aside, the bigger challenge is the world class outdoor recreation that San Diegans already have at their doorstep. The spots show some of the same activities San Diegans already love—swimming, paddle-boarding, biking—but in North Lake Tahoe’s enormous, open setting.
