Historically, the seven weeks prior to Christmas account for over 20% of the Ohio Lottery’s sales. Campaign promotes instant tickets as a new holiday tradition, and a better one than some others you might name, like lederhosen, fruitcake and sausage making. Fans of movie trivia may note that the TV’s final scene includes the leg lamp from the 1983 “A Christmas Story,” on loan from The Christmas Story House and Museum, Cleveland.
