Kidscape: Don't Say Don't Send

This week Kidscape launched #DontSayDontSend, a hard-hitting cyber bullying video that compels young people to consider their own online behaviour and realise how their words and actions can have devastating consequences. The video aims to spread awareness of the high prevalence of cyber bullying and ultimately reduce its occurrence through asking young people to consider the following before hitting send; if you wouldn't say it to someone's face, don’t say it in cyber space. Research shows that 69% of young people experience cyber bullying before their 18th birthday, and bullying in all its forms results in 10-14 youth suicides annually. This is unacceptable. With this campaign Kidcape aims to make young people understand that the cyber world is the real world with very real consequences, so is asking the public to stand behind this mission by sharing the #DontSayDontSend video with their social networks, and joining in the hashtag conversation online.Agency Saatchi & Saatchi London
