It’s not every day that your agency gets asked to design a logo for a political party. Recently founded Agang South Africa assigned Utopia this rare opportunity.

The logo comprises 11 triangles, each representing one of the 11 official languages of South Africa. This symbolises people of all cultures and creeds coming together for one goal. Joined together they form a circle, capturing the meaning of the Sotho word ‘Agang’ – ‘to build’. The swirling effect of the triangles shows movement and energy, and translates into positive action around a common cause.

The bright and vibrant colour palette draws from the South African flag, with green featured as the predominant colour to represent growth and fresh energy.
