MRM Romania and KFC launched a user generated campaign that trolls #richkidsofinstagram, the hashtag that gathers pictures from the too rich and the too famous. The new KFC campaign challenged Romanian youngsters to recreate the now famous #richkidsofinstagram poses, but with more humble and cheap surrounding and props, suggesting in the same time the new hashtag #distractiepebaniputini (translation: fun with little money). In a matter of days, Romanian KFC fans took to Facebook and Instagram and replaced, in hundreds of photos, diamonds with diamond tattoos, lions with cats, infinity pools with inflatable ones and private jets with toy planes.
