Hank & Frank: Kicks of the Day Floor Murals- "Rex Stretch"

Hank & Frank was a sneaker store that specialized in hard to find kicks. Their customer base was true blue sneaker heads. These guys practically wore a different pair everyday and liked to post and boast online about the sneaker they were wearing or the pair they just bought. They would then hashtag these photos with #KOTD or Kicks of the Day. Hank & Frank was well aware of this and wanted to do something cool with this habit to further build affinity and engagement with their sneaker loving customers.

The idea was to create floor murals that served as kickass backgrounds for Kicks of the Day photos in store. Hank & Frank customers could stand on the murals and snap pics of the kicks they were trying on or the kicks they bought, and it would look like they were part of an action scene! The “Kaiju Attack” mural made them look like they were in a creature feature. The “Space Run” mural made them stand on an intergalactic jogging path. The “Rex Stretch” made it appear like they were in a dino adventure. And the “Magma Ball” made them part of an extra hot basketball game! These #KOTDS or Kicks of the Day taken in the Hank & Frank store were so much more kickass!
