While LG Electronics Smart TV’s are getting more and more advanced, the entertainment we watch is getting more silly, simple and hilarious. M&C Saatchi Stockholm puts the “rocket science” and fun TV behaviour back to back in four amusing online films. The campaign ‘The Science Behind’ uses some of todays strangest TV phenomenon’s to illustrate the complexity of TV engineering versus the simplicity of entertainment: goat videos, sleepy TV marathons and looping aquarium clips. The goal is to raise awareness of LG’s new releases in 2015, with a pinch of self-distance and humour in a category that is homogeneous and predictable. The campaign is also the first films M&C Saatchi Stockholm has produced for LG Nordic.
