Every year, an alarming number of South African children lose their battle against kidney disease. What is most distressing is that young lives are cut off so senselessly without the opportunity to realise dreams and aspirations. Whether these dreams are to become doctors, lawyers, cops, cowboys, superheroes, princes or princesses is of no consequence. What is of the utmost importance is that these children are given the opportunity to live. And dream. It is these notions that director, scriptwriter and ex-advertising creative, Tebs Mosothoane of Propeller Films, set out to represent for the children of the Kidney Beanz Trust. The result is a heart-rendering television commercial written and directed by Tebs himself.
