How do you get young adults, who are in the prime of their life and feel bulletproof, to engage in a conversation about improving their health? You create an interactive music video … read morefeaturing The Futureheads and weave the conversation through it. This is exactly what we have done in Bupa's latest campaign from WCRS, UK 'Body as a band', to promote their health assessments: consultations where, through a series of tests and lifestyle questions, a personal plan is devised to help individuals improve their health.
‘Body as a band’ aims to reframe what healthy means to younger generations. It’s not simply the absence of illness but instead, it’s performing at your optimal best.
Directed by award winning director Rob Brandon, the interactive music video sees each band member of The Futureheads represent a different part of the body: the heart, lungs, bones and liver as they perform their hit song Heartbeat.
As for how the performance goes? Well, that’s completely up to the individual. Throughout the video you’ll be asked various lifestyle questions related to exercise, diet and smoking. The performance of each member is dependent on each of your answers – so if you don’t lead a healthy life, don’t expect the final performance to be in tune!
