In Brazil, thousands of people are infected with the Aedes aegypti mosquito every year. It reproduces in still water and transmits diseases like dengue, zika and chikungunya. Recent researches report that, in addition to the typical objects that accumulate water, such as tires and plant pots, mosquito larvae can also be found in abandoned toys.
