To turn the eyes of mobile generations towards Ray-Ban’s new Virtual Try-On tool, Gents is launching the #TryThemOn social campaign. A virtual activation where fans can try on any pair of Ray-Bans ànd star in their own 3D music video. Ray-Ban’s Virtual Try-On Tool lets fans virtually test-drive any pair, anywhere using their smartphone, tablet or computer. A virtual model of their face is created via face mapping technology. They can then experiment with endless new looks and try on any pair before actually buying one. Share it before you wear it. To encourage fans to try the tool and share their shades, Gents designed an extra feature. Turning your virtual ‘try-ons’ into stunning low poly 3D music videos starring yourself in different Ray-Ban looks. The new campaign for Ray-Ban’s Virtual Try-On builds on Gents’ success of keeping Ray-Ban models consistently relevant in the ever-changing digital environment. By providing universal consumer insights, aesthetically pleasing designs and innovative concepts, the campaign builds on Gents' and Ray-Ban's past collaborative successes of social media storytelling and interactive digital campaigns such as 'Sound of Sorry' and 'Unplug.'
