As an island nation, New Zealand has a lot of water. And every year, young and foolhardy Kiwi males drown because they do dumb things around it. Things like jumping off tall objects; bridges, trees, wharves etc. The results are often catastrophic. Part of the problem is that this target just doesn’t want to look uncool in front of their mates. No one wants to be called a chicken shit, or a pussy, or a drop-nuts. But the fact is, as history has proven time and again, being a little bit cowardly may just save your life.
