Invictus Games: Captain of my Soul
Members of the Invictus Games community have joined together to narrate the poem, Invictus by William Ernest Henley. The poem reminds us all of the power of resilience and the unconquered human spirit. ‘I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul’ has become a rallying cry for the wounded, injured and ill former and currently serving defence personnel who are using the healing power of sport to recover, rehabilitate and overcome.
