Photographer Cory White shoots ‘Everyone matters’ portrait series for Monkeys Melbourne.
Photographer Cory White was commissioned by The Monkeys to create a unique print campaign for Australia Post titled ‘Everyone Matters’.
Cory photographed a selection of authentic and extraordinary people from different regions and communities across Australia.
Says Cory White: “I was really excited to use this opportunity to build a collection of portraits that are honest and uniquely Australian. I was humbled by the generosity of the folk who welcomed me and just how beautiful and receptive the people of our country can be.”
A component of the series was cast on streets of regional towns. The portraits included an amputee surf champion, a Sudanese university graduate, a transgender artist, horse whisperer, and sugar cane farmers. Each with a compelling story to tell these portraits depicted are a truly unique part of Australian culture and its diversity.
The series is in its first phase of print media, digital and out of home and with more to come in the next few months.
