Ven Amsterdam: The Happiest ArtTop 6: October 17th 2018
The Brave New Now and Ven Amsterdam are today revealing a unique, ambitious
artwork, specifically designed to evoke feelings of happiness from those who view it. ‘The Happiest Art’ is an epic 60m long and 2m high artwork and is hanging in a specifically built exhibition space at Ven on the A10 at Sloterdijk. One of the busiest commuter routes in and out of Amsterdam. Ven Amsterdam is a vibrant space where work meets play and The Happiest Art project epitomises the colourful experience that Ven offers its guests. After recently opening its doors to the public, Ven offers the largest variety of business and entertainment facilities under one roof in the city, designed to appeal to both global and local visitors. With a love of colour at its core, Ven is helping to transform and revitalise Sloterdijk, a once grey corporate area, by breathing life, colour and energy into the location. The Brave New Now, an international creative agency based in Amsterdam, concepted the Ven brand and have partnered Ven for the past 3 years culminating in this epic, emotionally-charged artwork. To develop The Happiest Art, The Brave New Now worked together with Professor Margriet Sitskoorn, Head of Clinical Neuropsychology at Tilburg university, to gain insights into how colour, shapes, textures and objects can influence the brain and affect people’s moods, which then resulted in a brief for the artist.
