To announce that Minecraft will be adding two of the most beloved animals in the world, cats and pandas, into the game this Christmas as the first part of a game update coming to Minecraft, 215 McCann is working with Minecraft to tell the untold story of 'Cats and Pandas' on the smallest of scales. Well, the Pandas are new. And most of the cats are new, but some basic cats were in the game previously but only available once a player tamed an ocelot. And these new cats are awesome.
