Auckland City Mission: Bad Gifts For Good

Christmas brings a lot of joy, but it can also produce a lot of waste. That’s why the Auckland City Mission, via 99, has launched a new initiative, Bad Gifts For Good. This is an online store that’s designed to reduce the gift-giving waste, without taking any of the fun out of it — all for a good cause.

This year, when you’re stuck for ideas, you can go to this site and choose from a wide range of fun gifts. Your money is donated to the Auckland City Mission and you’ll receive a hilarious e-card to give to the recipient instead.

If we give one less unnecessary present this year and help an Aucklander receive a necessary one instead, that’s something everyone can feel good about.
