Biography

Marco thinks and works across disciplines to deliver new innovative solutions in any form, medium or technology, including digital, experiential, social media, mobile, events, word-of-mouth, public relations, and more. He has a passion for telling brand stories that motivate people to follow, participate, share with friends and, ultimately, influence a brand’s impact.

Currently SVP, Group Creative Director on Verizon FiOS at McCann Erickson, he is responsible for providing creative / strategic guidance across multiple client and agency partners. His work at McCann also includes stints helping build brands such as Verizon Wireless, Staples, Wendy’s, Mastercard, U.S. Army and Avis.

Previously Art Director at Kaplan Thaler and NW Ayer in New York working with creative teams on clients including: Continental Airlines, KitchenAid and the Ad Council. Before NW Ayer, Marco worked as an art director / designer at Fuel in San Francisco creating print, TV as well as package and product design for clients: Plantronics, Serfas Cycling products and Microsoft WebTV.

Along the way, he’s had success at numerous local and international award shows including, Cannes Lions, New York Festivals, Effies, ADWEEK, Creativity and the Ad Council. He has herded sheep, raised rabbits, skateboarded with Tony Hawk, worked as a steel worker, prop maker, designer, husband and dad. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and two young daughters.
