Biography

I started my career in an independent design shop in 2000, then I moved to Publicis Montreal as a Copywriter.
I got recruited by Cossette Montreal, the biggest independent advertising group in Canada, one year later.

In nine years, I went from Copywriter, to Art Director, to Creative Director. I worked on key accounts like McDonald’s, Yellow Pages, Coca-Cola and Red Cross, and was the Convergent Creative Director (overseeing web, traditional advertising, promotions, PR and social media) for four beer accounts for Molson Breweries ltd, the biggest brewer in Canada.

I then moved to London working for Dare Digital, one of the best digital shops in the world.

I received an offer to move to Dare NYC, but the group that owned Dare and Cossette MTL got bought out.Needless to say, New York never happened (insert gastric reflux here).

In 2010, Michel De Lauw, Chief Creative Officer for the Montreal agency, arrived to Cossette from TBWA Paris. He asked me to stay for two years to help restructure the Montreal office under its new ownership. But, as always, the strategic orientation of the agency changed. I’ve learn that it takes a rare breed of courage to fight for ideas for nine years in the same agency.

I joined a smaller ad agency now.

We would like to work with people that are more interested in creation than profits, and are fearless defenders of good ideas.
