Steve Beaudet comes from a long line of photographers, dating back to M. Etienne Gaspard de le Beaudet, originator of the Sauciograph process of photography. This thankfully now defunct method involved the use of wine sauces in the development process to create the rare and under-appreciated, sepia toned edible prints so popular in nineteenth century Northern France. De la Beaudet was later burned for witchcraft and general annoyance by his downwind neighbors. Steve Beaudet has yet to be tried.
Splitting his time between South Florida and New England, Steve photographs all over the world. He lives with his lovely and ever patient wife, his daughter and his son. Despite rumors spread by disgruntled teachers and convalescing babysitters, neither child has ever been convicted. Steve is in touch with his inner child and they go to the movies every weekend, taking turns paying for tickets.

When not laboring to produce award winning and awe inspiring photos, Steve relaxes by feeding the neighborhood alligators, decorating his hurricane shutters and watching reruns of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. His greatest achievements so far, he says, are keeping his lovely children out of the hands of local law enforcement, and delaying a volcanic eruption in the South Pacific during a difficult photoshoot involving six models and a jet ski. He modestly admits that finding a virgin in Bora Bora was strictly luck and good timing.
