Christopher Webb is a freelance cinematographer based in New York City. Chris works with creative directors, ad agencies, producers, TV networks, and Fortune 500 companies on a wide variety of projects. In addition, Chris is often called upon to serve as a director/cameraman.
Chris's personal work includes the feature documentary Air Racer: Chasing the Dream (which aired on The Documentary Channel) and the stop-motion animated short The Reef: After the Flood (currently in production).
His commercial credits include projects for ABC, BMW, Dior, Goodyear, Jim Beam, L'Oreal, Maybelline, Nissan, Puma, Reebok, and Verizon, among others.
At his workshop and studio in Brooklyn, Chris and his team specialize in tabletop and visual effects insert shots using a host of specialty equipment and in-camera techniques.
Showtime recently enlisted Chris to help create on-air packaging for Californication, The Borgias, Dexter, Penny Dreadful, and Ray Donovan. These projects utilized hand made filters, custom optical rigs, and other creative in-camera techniques to blend motion graphics with live action footage shot in the style of each show.
Chris and his team at CW Films continue to explore new and innovative methods and technical resources that support the rich artistic sensibility of their clients.
