Florian Marquardt is currently working as an ACD at Goodby Silverstein & Partners. Originally hailing from Germany, he has worked at notable agencies across the globe. After graduating from Miami Ad School Europe, he moved to Jung von Matt in Hamburg, SapientNitro in London and BBDO New York before finally heading to San Francisco.
Along the way he has been awarded by all major award shows such as Cannes, ANDY Awards, One Show, ADC Global, D&AD, AICP + AICP Next Awards, New York Festivals, London International Awards, Communication Arts and Clio Awards.
Florian was named #3 on Business Insider's 2017 list of "The 30 Most Creative People in Advertising Under 30" worldwide and was also chosen as one of San Francisco's "32 under 32".
His work for Snickers helped BBDO NY earn Adweek’s “U.S. Agency of the Year” in 2015 as well as a Top 10 spot on AdAge’s Agency A-List. A year later, his work for Doritos helped GS&P become one of Creativity Magazine’s Top 10 Agencies and one of the “Creative Innovators” in AdAge's A-List issue.
In the past years Florian has been invited to judge various national and international award shows, such as the Executive Jury of the 'London International Awards' (LIA), Grand Jury of the ‘New York Festivals’ (x2), 'The Webby Awards' (x2), the 'AICP Awards' (x2), One Show (Creative Boot Camp) as well as the ‘Golden Award of Montreux’.
Florian is a member of the 'International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS)', the judging body of the Webby Awards and The Lovie Awards as well as a member of the One Club for Creativity.
