BIO: Lawrence is a 36 yr old Anglo Italian, born and raised in the UK, with a passion for good olive oil and fish finger sandwiches. He studied Graphic Design at Bristol University where he specialised in Film & Animation.
In April 2001 he made his first ad for a little known dog food company and has since made commercials for international clients including: Orange, Ikea, Fila, Aldays, Persil, Swatch, Tuborg, Carlsberg, Pepsi, Walls, Knoor, Yakult, Danone, Toyota, GM, Vanity Fair and many, many more.
In 2003 he had a Shortlist at Cannes and won an Epica with Ikea 'Game'. In 2005 he was Shortlisted for the CFP-E Young Director's award at Cannes. He was featured in Boards magazine as 'one to watch' and had several commercials selected for Shots magazine. He won Best Director at the Viral Awards in London and NY in 2005 with Pot Noodle 'Precious' which was a self-financed test spot that he wrote, produced and directed.
Most recently he won Best Ad Award at Ad'Or with ANCP 'Hide and Seek', a Bronze Drum at the Golden Drum awards with Arctic 'Movie' a Bronze Eurobest in the CRAFT category with 'Girl's Night Out' and a shortlist at Cannes with Voltaren 'Commentator'. However, he has not yet topped his Coca-Cola Football Super Skills Silver Badge Award or his First Prize at the Cadbury’s Cream Egg Eating Contest 1987 (Six in one minute. Pre-Unwrapped obviously).
Lawrence is currently working on several feature film projects as well as commercials and is split between London and LA.
