The Co-op is directing duo Michael Mier and Lav Bodnaruk, best known for their strong performance-based commercials and films, as well as their flexible approach to getting the job done.

The Co-op have built up their skills as highly adaptable film-makers, effortlessly juggling multiple roles behind the camera and at the desktop. Their style is characterised by their strong talent direction and striking cinematography, combined in the mix is the duo’s renowned problem solving abilities.

Lav’s background as a cinematographer and Mike’s skills in sound design compliment one another and really add to shaping the duo’s directing style. A rock solid understanding of all aspects of post-production is another string to Mike and Lav’s bow. So much so that the two have recently opened up their own boutique post-production house, ‘The Chop Shop’, in Brisbane.
