The Olli campaign was created to save and generate more traffic for the Rotterdam Zoo Diergaarde Blijdorp. Olli was also created as a toy by John Doe Amsterdam. Olli became a national hype in the Netherlands from March 2013. After the launch Olli became the symbol of Rotterdam and professional football club Feyenoord.
