This Sunday 3rd March, supermarket Aldi launches its latest advert celebrating the Great British Roast and its ongoing commitment to supporting British Farmers. The 30-second advert, titled 'Mustard' will hit screens during ITV's Dancing on Ice at 6.45pm this Sunday. Shot in the idyllic pastures of Oxfordshire, the advert brings together a family of farmers as they sit down to enjoy a delicious British Beef Roasting Joint, whilst the voiceover implores the nation to enjoy their own great British roast. The charming advert, narrated by actor Hugh Bonneville, reminds audiences that all of Aldi’s fresh meat is 100% British and Red Tractor Assured and that Aldi were the first retailer to sign up to the National Farmers Union (NFU) fruit and veg pledge. And of course, no advert from Aldi would be complete without a touch of the unique sense of humour and tone of voice that we have all come to love. At the end of the advert, which celebrates the ‘Best of British’, one of the farmers asks: ‘Have we got any French mustard?’
