Everything changes, even the cinema. And with that transformation there are characters and styles that have gone out of fashion and have inevitably been consigned to oblivion. This is inspiration behind DDB's campaign for Audi's sponsorship of the San Sebastian Film Festival. In this 2-minute audiovisual piece, Audi presents a group of characters whose roles have been disappearing from the cinema. A group therapy session for the Forgotten Characters Association (FCA), a fictional association in which each of the protagonists tries to face the aftermath of oblivion. The film ends with an unexpected twist as we are presented with a silent film actress who only comes to say goodbye to the group because silence becomes the protagonist once again thanks to the new Audi e-tron’s 100% electric, silent traction. A model that radically redefines the concept of electromobility. With a unique and innovative fast recharging system, enviable power, and unprecedented connectivity technology, which will forever change the driving experience, as silence once did for the cinema. The spot has been created as a sponsorship piece for the San Sebastian Film Festival and is part of a campaign that also features posters, banners and press graphics with visuals inspired by silent film posters.
