Latina moms from across the country are using their enormous voting power to come together and make a promise to their children to #VoteLikeAMadre, a campaign launched today by a coalition of national organizations that aims to galvanize the power of Latina moms to encourage their community to register and get out to vote on or before November 3rd, prioritizing candidates that support climate action. Climate change is one of the top concerns for Latinos at the polls. #VoteLikeAMadre kicks off on September 1st and will continue until Election Day. Led by Latino Victory Project, #VoteLikeAMadre has the support of some of the most recognizable Latina moms across music, television, film and business including Jessica Alba, Jordana Brewster, Salma Hayek, Joy Huerta, Eva Longoria Bastón, Jennifer Lopez, Desi Perkins, Zoe Saldana and Karla Souza, among others. They join Latina moms on launch day, who have committed to support the campaign by posting #VoteLikeAMadre’s PINKY PROMISE on social media. The PINKY PROMISE features videos and photos of moms and their children making a promise to fight climate change and challenging friends to do the same. Jennifer Lopez is supporting #VoteLikeAMadre through a special campaign video. The campaign is also supported by Chispa, Poder Latinx, Alianza For Progress, and New Florida Majority. For more information and to join #VoteLikeAMadre and make a PINKY PROMISE for your child, go to the Vote Like A Madre website
