Since 2015, McDonald's France has been offering families and its youngest members the choice of a book or a toy in all its Happy menus Meal. By inviting people to choose a book, the brand is working to pass on the love of reading to a whole generation of children and to offer family reading time. And it works: more than 60 million books have been distributed over the last 5 years to millions of children throughout France. With this film by TBWAParis, McDonald's wants to present this commitment by immersing us in a mother/daughter reading experience that has all the makings of a great epic and wonderful adventure: alternately amazed, amused or frightened, we follow our two protagonists on their one-night odyssey. An adventure that we understand is none other than the evening story, a privileged moment around a book so full of emotion. Directed by Reynald Gresset and produced by La Pac, this film invites us, young and old, to immerse ourselves in the great adventures of words.
