The integrated campaign, created by Wunderman Thompson UK, part of the WPP Open X team, will showcase ‘Made a Little Better’, a new creative platform for the Nation’s Favourite Coffee Shop. Buying a coffee is often far more meaningful than reaching for your next caffeine hit. It’s an emotional lift with the power to make your day a little better; something increasingly true since the pandemic, as people appreciate the small things that lift their mood. That cup of coffee is more than just a drink, it’s an experience, something that lies at the heart of Costa Coffee. As part of the WPP Open X team, integrated marketing agency Wunderman Thompson UK has created a new creative platform and integrated campaign for Costa Coffee. ‘Made a Little Better’ centres around the insight that ‘everything is made a little better when your coffee is’, allowing Costa Coffee to humorously depict deeply relatable, challenging human moments, and show how a coffee can lift us up, give us a break, a treat, or be used to form a connection.
