Bupa Global and UK has launched its new #TeamHealth campaign as part of its partnership with ParalympicsGB. The campaign aims to encourage wider inclusion in support of better physical and mental health, following new research which shows that people who are part of a team or society are 24 per cent more likely to report they are happy, with an even more pronounced boost (+80%) among disabled people. People also say that being included in a team means they have a better support network (22%) and more than one in 10 (13%) credit being part of a team with getting through a hard time in their life. While for others, it means they’re more likely to achieve their health and fitness goals. #TeamHealth launched on 29th June with the support of creative experience agency Momentum Worldwide, who collaborated with Bupa on a creative campaign that brings to life the challenges, hurdles and highs and lows of reaching a personal goal, and the role played by a supportive team. The campaign comes to life as a series of films following the journey of Paralympic hopeful Emmanuel Oyinbo-Coker as he works to be selected for ParalympicsGB at Paris 2024, and Bupa colleague, Julie Vivash, who is taking control of her physical and mental wellbeing after a lifetime spent putting others first. The first episode shows Emmanuel and Julie about to take on the challenge of climbing The O2, supported by Paralympic Gold Medallist Richard Whitehead MBE. The campaign will be live across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook over the coming months.
