We needed … read moremore occasions for Aussies to enjoy Guinness - the entirety of winter made sense. To establish winter as ‘Guinness Season’, we developed our own weather app cheekily named ‘The Brewery of Meteorology’. If the mercury dropped to Ireland-like temps in your area, you were notified and offered a free pint at the nearest Guinness pouring pub. Not bad.
To promote the app we enlisted Irishman and celebrity chef Colin Fassnidge to act as a roaming weather reporter. The campaign is live across Instagram, YouTube, radio as well native weather apps like WeatherZone and the real Bureau of Meteorology.
