Smirnoff has a vision of being a category shaping, culture making icon. However, it wasn’t connecting with younger audiences in NZ. To change this, we relaunched with a new brand platform called ‘We do We’.
The insight was based around everyone having a different role to play within their group of friends: the mum friend, the gossip, the dance floor demon. All different, but all essential ingredients for a successful night out. ‘For every flavour of friend’ was created as an integrated campaign that played off gen Z’s love of maximalist style, and 90’s disposable camera photography.
