KFC: Beyond The Sea

This film met the challenge of telling a compelling, fresh KFC taste story without… KFC. A tribute to how, specifically South Africans who live far from a KFC, would do ‘Anything for the Taste’. We took a feature film approach; from teaming up with a renowned feature film & series cinematographer to create a signature look & feel giving gravitas to the characters, to painstakingly recreating a familiar yet alien world through meticulously detailed set design. And the, pièce de resistance; the tonal storytelling balance struck between heaviness of longing & light-heartedness of the longing being for fried chicken.
