THE LAST TRIP
Nine years of a missing journalist who returns with his newspaper to raise his voice.

CONTEXT.
Mexico is the second most dangerous country for journalism worldwide. From 2000 to 2024, over 163 journalists have been murdered, with Veracruz leading in reported and unsolved cases.

IDEA.
We've crafted a short film and a special edition of the newspaper LA UNION to demand justice for the case of a journalist's murder that has remained unsolved for 9 years.

EXECUTION.

On the day of the Mexican and Latin American journalist, we screened the short film "The Last Trip" and a special edition of the newspaper La Unión recounting the story of the director, Moisés Sánchez. We say that he died for being a journalist and not for being a taxi driver as the government made us believe. The newspaper told the story of hundreds of journalists whose cases also remain unpunished. The newspaper was distributed to media, politicians and all over Mexico. Moisés made headlines again to reopen his case and search for justice.
