Fundación con Vida: Retiring Species - Argentina

Top 6: July 24th 2024
Findasense, a 360 creative agency specializing in Brand Experience, in collaboration with Fundación con Vida presents "Retiring Species". This campaign uniquely and captivatingly merges the world of soccer and environmental conservation, leveraging the pivotal moment in the careers of footballers on the brink of retirement to draw a powerful parallel to animal species also on the verge of extinction. The campaign features four impactful prints, each showcasing a renowned footballer with their most iconic element – their jersey – integrated with the fur texture of an endangered species that corresponds to their nickname. The Ethiopian ibex represents the G.O.A.T., the top star of the Argentine national team (with only 500 individuals left in the world); the Bengal tiger symbolizes the historic top scorer of Colombia (occupying only 5% of their historical range); the panther references the emblematic goalkeeper of the Costa Rican national team (current population estimated between 16,000 and 14,000 members of the species); and the arctic fox represents the Italian-Peruvian forward of the Peruvian national team (in 2022, only about 450 were estimated in Norway, Sweden, and Finland). This visual fusion, besides highlighting the connection between athletes and animals, emphasizes the urgency of protecting these species before it's too late.
