When Huawei Home Green Energy began expanding into the Philippines, it faced some challenges.
Because the Philippines is divided into so many regions by the sea and rivers, it's really tough to bring all the different sales channels together into one network. The Philippines is a sunny, tropical island nation, but it's also hit hard by typhoons, which often cause power and water outages. On top of that, electricity costs are constantly going up, and and a highly dispersed sales channel network, create a difficult business environment. To stand out, we need a Killer content that resonates with audiences across the Philippine islands. Our product messaging will center on four key benefits: Water Resistance, Cost Saving, Emergency Power Backup, and Worry-free Service. This strategy will showcase the value of Huawei PV in the Philippines to high-value customers and channel partners. FusionSolar Smart Energy Home is a premium product aimed at villa owners. Considering that no one knows a villa's energy needs better than the housemaid, we decided to create a comedy series called "What a Solar Life!" starring a maid. This setup allowed us to explore the relationship between maids and their employers, creating funny and relatable moments. Within a month of launching, the series garnered over 1.8 million views on social media.
