Its launch is marked by a campaign from Jung von Matt SPORTS, titled ‘The Fabric of Legends.’ Produced by The Sweetspot and directed by Sinan Sevinç, a campaign film pays a celebratory tribute to the DFB’s 125-year history, casting icons from its past and present – including the likes of Jule Brand, Nia Künzer, Thomas Müller, Manuel Neuer, Rudi Völler, and Florian Wirtz – in acting roles. It playfully imagines the making of the anniversary kit, as workers in lab coats pick out the finest sartorial specimens of Germany’s footballing excellence to churn together into its final form.
