HSE with Publicis Dublin have launched a new campaign to highlight the importance of quick action when a stroke is suspected. Research revealed that without clarity when people are experiencing or witnessing is a stroke, they may choose to 'wait and see'. They might not understand the urgency of their response directly impacts the outcome, down to the minutes. It could mean the difference between recovery, a lifelong disability or worse. The campaign, ‘Every Second Counts’ highlights how quickly stroke can strike in every day scenarios, but the second you suspect it could be a stroke is the second to dial 999 or 112.
