Based on the briefing from MMB's Boston creative team, which presented several vignettes featuring different people doing the "$5 Footlong gesture," BNS project directors Eric Adolfsen and Mario Stipinovich and their colleagues were given total creative freedom with environments, styling, and editorial for two different spots. Presenting a slightly surreal and unpredictable cast, and art direction that unifies the diverse ensemble with the Subway brand, these spots have aired across the U.S. throughout the coverage of the Vancouver Winter Olympics. BNS is now at work on another campaign spot for the agency and Subway.
From Eric Adolfsen and Mario Stipinovich: "This was a really great showcase of how BNS handles every single aspect of a production. We worked closely with the agency on the script and treatment, designed the environments, handled all elements of the live-action from casting to wardrobe to principal photography, and last but certainly not least, handled all of the visual effects, CG, and post. It's quite a lot to get done in a few weeks! But the truest measure of success is that the client already came back to us to develop another commercial that is currently in production."
